The EMP 511 standalone casing-in machine produces books with a hard cover and flat spine. Machine operation is controlled by the KOLBUS Copilot® system; outstanding features include very fast make ready and quick and easy format changes.
The EMP 511 is a rugged machine engineered for tough, continuous production. All book components are handled and transported precisely and automatically through gluing, casing-in, shaping and pressing. This guarantees clean and very durable adhesion between book block and cover. The pressure plate and the joint forming rail operate in an alternating rhythm for a perfectly symmetrical book. The excellent quality of each product coming off the machine is instantly apparent.
